Wednesday, September 13th

Listened to: First 14 chapters of the Gospel of John, Freestyle

Delivered to: 10

Conversations had: 0

Moments of Awkwardness: 1

Judgments Passed: Like 7, all on co-workers of my delivery job, which is unfair because it was a very stressful day in the ol' office place.

Things Learnt: The water to wine passage found in John 2 has an interesting connection (I think, it struck me this way anyway) to us passing from law to life. The fellow at the wedding says about the wine Jesus transformed, "You have saved the best for last." Jesus took water, something good, and changed it into wine, something better for the context of a wedding celebration. The Biblical law is something that was put into place and was good, still is good, but Jesus is better. And just like at the wedding, God has saved the best for last with sending his Son to us. Why not do it as soon as Adam and Eve sinned? I don't know. To us, it makes little sense. But he has saved the best for last.

Memorable Moments: It rained. I like rain.

Gas passed: Eight (eight what? I'll leave that up to you, the reader, to decide)

Intermission

There's two new ones. I need to get back to work so that will have to tide whoever actually reads this thing over until tomorrow, or the next day, when I will release more. Oooooooooooo! Aaaaahhhhh!

Tuesday, Sept. 12th

Listened to: Freestyle, North by NorthWest (which I usually don't listen to but they were talking about wine, so I listened), a mixed CD of worship music

Delivered to: 6

Conversations had: 0

Moments of Awkwardness: 0, for me. Maybe more for others. I like to think I don't create much awkwardness but a truly awkward person would probably think the same thing, so who knows?

Judgments Passed: 2 (There's always something to write here. Maybe I should work on that.)

Things Learnt: I learned much about the red wine called Merlot. Fast forward to today and I have forgotten it all.

Memorable Moments: I went to Gourmet Greens, our local vegetable produce store (great store, by the way) and purchased some "Gourmet Greens" and oranges and reds, I think. The lady asked me if I had brought my bags this day. I was surprised as I am not a regular of this store but she remembered that I occasionally brought my own grocery bags. It was kind of neat. I had to say no, though. I'm very inconsistent. What a great impression to make.

Bad Impressions Made: Only God knows.

Monday, Sept. 11th

I found out I have a few recorded that I did not post from a few weeks back. I'll see if my notes help me at all.

Listened to: Traffic noises and myself

Delivered to: 4

Conversations had: Other than with myself, 0

Moments of Awkwardness: None that I noticed.

Judgments Passed: 3

Things Learnt: I can actually drive for an hour or more without having to depend on music

Memorable Moments: The whole town smelled like a dirty outhouse that someone threw a dozen stink bombs in. It was gross. Thanks smelly mill that we have.

There was a fellow (older, hence the word fellow) standing outside of the Great Canadian Oil Change with a "Buyer Beware" sign. I was intrigued because I was wondering what people needed to beware of. But, his sign worked. I am a sucker and I will (probably) not go back to the Great Canadian Oil Change. Kudos to you, sir.

Dinosaurs Ridden: 2 in my mind, 1 in reality.
